Indradi "Indi" Soemardjan is an active and well-connected entrepreneur in the ASEAN and New Zealand business communities who cultivates sustainable business development and trade opportunities, and understands business growth potential in the ASEAN region. Indi is one of seven Indonesians who have been awarded the New Zealand ASEAN 40th Anniversary Awards in 2015 for contributing to New Zealand's deepening relationship with ASEAN, notably through the ASEAN Young Business Leaders Initiatives. He also has participated in the "2nd Indonesia - New Zealand 15 + 15 Dialogue" which is one of the most important Track Two diplomacy paths organized by the Habibie Center in Jakarta. He also sits in the Advisory Group of the New Zealand Asia Institute, which is a business research group under the University of Auckland.
His company, Anapana Pte Ltd, is a Singapore-based company that is operating farm-to-cup coffee business between Indonesia and Singapore under its own brands of Javanero (for specialty green beans) and SOMA Coffee (for retail F&B outlets serving its own sustainable coffee).
Indi is also the Treasurer of the Sustainable Coffee Platform of Indonesia ("SCOPI"), which is an Indonesian-based multi-stakeholder non-profit organization supported by the Global Coffee Platform and is dedicated to promote supply-chain traceability system, economic viability for farmers, environmental conservation, and social responsibility across the value-chain from farmers to consumers.
