We are seeking an organized and efficient administrative and finance officer with competitive communication skills to coordinate between the company and our partners. The ideal candidate will also act as liaison between AGREA and partners to streamline operations, resolve issues, improve communications, and generally ensure that the relationship is as beneficial as possible. 

ADMINISTRATIVE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Maintain thorough knowledge of the business, as well as an understanding of how that impacts partners and stakeholders;
  • Monitor, coordinate, and communicate strategic objectives of AGREA;
  • Collaborate and communicate successfully with respective partners and stakeholders;
  • Work with other members of the AGREA Team to develop a greater understanding of the business and any issues that arise;
  • Develop and foster relationships with the community, stakeholders, and other entities;
  • Collect, analyze, and utilize data and feedback to identify opportunities to improve the relationship between the AGREA and its partners and stakeholders;
  • Compile reports about particular incidents, events, or updates about important issue for business;
  • Regularly submit written accomplishment reports;
  • Proactively solve conflicts and address issues that could occur between the business and its partners and stakeholders; and
  • Act as a positive representation of AGREA to its partners and stakeholders.

FINANCE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist in the preparation of budgets;
  • Managing of records and receipts;
  • Reconciling daily, monthly and yearly transactions;
  • Processing invoices;
  • Preparing monthly cash disbursement report and balance sheets;
  • Providing customer service to clients;
  • Being a key point of contact for other departments on financial and accounting matters;
  • Supporting the Finance Manager and executives with projects and tasks when required;
  • Management of office equipment;
  • Maintaining a clean and enjoyable working environment;
  • Handling external or internal communication or management system;
  • Managing clerical or other administrative matters.

AGREA FARM SCHOOL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Serve the Liaison Officer of the AGREA Farm School and Assessment Center with the following duties and responsibilities:
    • Maintain thorough knowledge of the AGREA Farm School and Assessment Center operations, as well as an understanding of how that impacts partners and stakeholders;
    • Monitor, coordinate, communicate, and implement strategic objectives of the farm school and assessment center;
    • Collaborate and communicate successfully with respective partners and stakeholders such as TESDA, DepEd Marinduque, and ATI MIMAROPA, among others;
    • Help in scholarship recruitment, program implementation, documentation, and creation and submission of reports and other related responsibilities;
    • Proactively solve conflicts and address issues that could occur between the business and its partners and stakeholders; and
    • Act as a positive representation of AGREA to its partners and stakeholders.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Holder of any Bachelor’s degree is preferred;
  • At least two (2) years of experience in a related role is preferred;
  • Possess competitive verbal and written communication skills;
  • Practical skills in Microsoft Office applications such as Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and the likes;
  • Ability to establish and nurture beneficial business relationships;
  • Self-motivated with a willingness to take initiative and solve complex problems;
  • Must be highly organized, a team player, perform multitasking, and able to work well with others;
  • Capability to negotiate with and influence others;
  • Previous experience in community-based organizing and conflict management is a plus;
  • Must be able to work with a wide variety of demographic;
  • Must be willing to travel and work on shifting and demanding schedules;
  • Must be able to align the program workspace with the goals, objectives, mission and vision of AGREA;
  • Must be experienced in developing and managing budget, training, and supervising and assessing performance;
  • Previous experience in community-based organizing and conflict management is a plus;
  • Must be able to work with a wide variety of demographic; and
  • Must be willing to travel and work on shifting and demanding schedules.
