2 Filipinos join Food and Agribusiness Value Chains Course in New Zealand

PALMERSTON NORTH, NEW ZEALAND. Two Filipinos represent the Philippine delegation to the Food and Agribusiness Value Chains Short Course provided by the Massey University Palmerston North in New Zealand, funded by the NZ Aide Programme, administered by the NZ Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade, and in partnership with AGREA Philippines and Leaders and Entrepreneurs in Agriculture Forum - LEAF.

Attending the course in New Zealand are Rafael Seño, AGREA’s Communications and PR Director and Training Director at the AGREA Farm School and Assessment Center, and Elaine Joy Quidato of Teach Philippines, a non-profit that builds young leaders. Quidato is also a winner at the recently-concluded LEAF 2018 Agribusiness Pitch where her team won P50,000 funding for their agribusiness project.

Joining them are 16 other ASEAN agribusiness professionals from Cambodia, Lao PDR, Viet Nam, Myanmar, Timor Leste, and Indonesia.

“The purpose of this scholarship is to provide you with training so that you can assist in the social and economic development of your countries on your return home,” said David Strachan, NZ Ambassador to the Philippines in a statement.

Hmm it appears like your site ate my first comment (it was
super long) so I guess I'll just sum it up what I had written and say,
I'm thoroughly enjoying your blog. I too am an aspiring blog blogger
but I'm still new to everything. Do you have any helpful hints for novice blog writers?
I'd genuinely appreciate it.
